Could I post too many photos of downtown Mpls? I think not. Here’s another one from last week’s visit to a friend’s apt. with a view.

A beautiful shot of Minneapolis.

How to wash dishes in an office

marco:

  1. Stack as many dishes, glasses, and mugs in the sink as you can get to fit in it. Be sure to include as much leftover food as possible, especially if it came from the ocean. There should be no more than 1 inch of clearance between the top of the stack and the faucet’s opening.
  2. Saturate the sponge, then hide it somewhere in the middle of the stack.
  3. Pour coffee over the stack.

I am glad to know this behavior is in all offices.

1/365: January 1, 2010
Day 1 of the 365 Days Project.
There are thousands of photographers who have already embarked on and succeeded in this year-long endeavor, most of whom are far more creative and qualified than I. Like lauren lemon, the one who inspired me to give this a try.
But I’m always up for a challenge, and am looking forward to what I might learn along the way.
So here’s the first. I hope to post many (but not all) as we make our way through 2010.
If you’d like to play along (we could encourage each other!), join the 365 Days flickr group and get started.
Alright, let the fun begin!

A wonderful start.  I am really looking forward to seeing your photography and creativity evolve throughout the year.

Why you should be doing the 365 Days Project : Stephen Poff's Blog

lfarm:

Have you considered starting the 365 Project on your own? Take some advice from Stephen Poff, who was the inspiration behind the Flickr group, started in 2006 - “If you’re looking to get serious about your craft, why not challenge yourself to a photo a day with the only model that’s always available and as passionate as you are about it… yourself!”

(via laurenlemon)

I’m in for 2010.

Good luck to you, Lauren.  I will most definitely be following your project.

My friend who first introduced me to Mpls is moving from Loring Park. The view of downtown from his apartment is stellar. This is one of many pics I took there this evening - a last photographic hurrah.

A beautiful photograph of Minneapolis from Loring Park.
